Chennai Central Railway Station gets a 5000 Litre Drinking Water Vending RO Plant

CHENNAI: A new 5000 Litre Drinking Water Vending RO (Reverse Osmosis) plant was commissioned at Chennai Central today. This new facility was donated to the Railways by the Rajasthani Association of Tamil Nadu as a social cause. This 5000 litre Drinking Water Plant, situated in the new concourse area near Platforms 9, 10 and 11 of Chennai Central will serve the passengers using Chennai Central and will greatly reduce the use of plastic water bottles.

During the occasion, Shri Naveen Gulati, Divisional Railway Manager, Shri K.Manoj Addl Divisional Railway Manager, Shri B.Guganesan, Station Director, Shri S.N.Narain, Divisional Commercial Manager, and Office bearers and members of the Rajasthani Association, viz, Shri Ashok Mehta, Shri CA Rajendra, Shri Suraj Saklecha and Shri Vinod Jain were present.
