‘Early funds release by Karnataka Govt will help speedy completion of works’, Kharge

Gulbarga: Railway Minister M. Mallikarjun Kharge said that if the Karnataka state government expedited the release of its share of Rs.800 crore for the railway projects taken up under cost-sharing basis, work would be completed quickly. Addressing a press conference at Gulbarga on Monday, Mr.Kharge said that for the past four months, the State government had not released any funds for the railway projects taken up on cost-sharing basis. The early release of the State’s share of funds for the projects would help the Railways release its contribution of Rs. 800 crore, he said.
