पटना Patna (PNBE): The East Central Railway (ECR) that had decided to withdraw services of at least 28 passenger trains for a week, fearing disruption during Foundation Day celebrations of the Maoists in Bihar and Jharkhand, withdrew its notification on Saturday. The movement of trains will now be regulated under strict police protection, said ECR CPRO Arvind Rajak. According to Rajak, railways would maintain foolproof safety at vulnerable places. “Since Maoists have always targeted railways for one reason or another, we would not give any leeway to them. Security has been beefed under all five divisions,” he added.
