HCC bags INR 300 Crore contract to construct Underground Station in Delhi

नयी दिल्ली New Delhi: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said, Hindustan Construction Company (HCC), which finished 3 contracts under phase I and II of the Delhi Metro, has bagged the third contract worth INR 300 crore for the design and construction of a 1.54 kilometer (km) twin tunnel on the Dwarka-Najafgarh corridor under phase III.

HCC has to construct a 290 meter long and 30 meter wide underground station at a depth of 18 m, which would be one of the biggest underground stations in the country. DMRC said the project is to be completed in 36 months; it is learnt, according to the contract.
