Healthy Industrial Relations Enable SCR Emerge as a Best Performer: says GM/SCR

SECUNDERABAD: Shri Vinod Kumar Yadav, General Manager, South Central Railway stated that healthy industrial relations enable South Central Railway (SCR) emerge as a best performer on Indian Railways. He was the Guest of Honour at the opening day of the 5th Triennial General Council & 48th Annual General Council Meeting of South Central Railway Mazdoor Union (SCRMU) held at Thummalapalli Kalakshethram at Vijayawada today i.e., 23rd July, 2018.

Addressing the huge gathering of SCRMU members, the General Manager said that the commitment, team spirit, solidarity, sincerity and hard working nature of the work force on South Central Railway is unmatched. I commend Shri Ch. Shankar Rao who has shouldered the responsibility of SCRMU with fervour and responsible trade union ethics, enabling develop a healthy and cordial industrial relations. I strongly believe in according high priority towards taking care of the Railway employees with the firm belief that the employees in turn take care of the organization. SCR has taken unique initiatives such as conducting Job Mela for wards of railway employees, Passport Mela for the employees and their families and organizing overseas camp for railway employees on subsidized prices. All measures which care for the welfare of Railway employees can be possible only through the cooperation of the recognized Trade Unions and I will say that undoubtedly, SCR Mazdoor Union under the dynamic leadership of Shri Shankar Rao Ji has contributed immensely in the success of each of this endeavor.

Shri Shiva Gopal Mishra, General Secretary AIRF, New Delhi who was the chief guest for the occasion stated that the General Manager took great initiative towards employee welfare programs with humanity. He also stated that SCR is the only zone to organize such new and unique employee welfare oriented programs on throughout Indian Railways.

Shri R. Dhananjayulu, Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada Division; Shri Ch. Shankar Rao, General Secretary SCRMU and AGS, AIRF, Shri K. Srinivas, President SCRMU and Vice President AIRF were present on the occasion.
