Indian Railways engineering subsidiary IRCON has recently completed 43 Km stretch of Sri Lanka’s Northern Railway line from Madawachchiya to Madhu Road station on schedule. In a statement issued by the company, it was announced that the track has been tested to allow trains to run upto a speed of 120 km per hour.
