Bhubaneswar (BBS): Officers of East Coast Railway (ECoR) have fanned out to seek direct interaction with passengers and rail users for getting feedback and suggestions so that customer facilities can be improved.
Marking the Railway Passengers and Customers Fortnight, senior officials including heads of departments and Divisional Railway Managers are engaged in direct interaction.
As part of this, awareness drives on cleanliness and safety at level crossings, security awareness drive to guard against drugging of passengers and theft of luggage are also being organised.
Similarly, special exercises to check quality and hygiene of catering services during train journey as well as at stations are also to be conducted. Ticket checking drives are also being conducted daily at different railway stations, while punctuality in train services is also being monitored.
