IR’s 15-day Railyatri Upbhokta Pakhwada: Railway Officers discuss Passenger issues with Ramgarh DC

Ramgarh (RAH): Senior railway officers i.e. Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Niraj Kumar and Senior Divisional Engineer Vishal Anand of Ranchi Division of South Eastern Railway met Dr Anjaneyulu Dodde, DC, Ramgarh to facilitate resolving of issues concerning rail-users. The meeting was held in course of the country-wide celebrations of Rail Yatri/Upbhokta Pakhwada by Indian Railways during the period of May 26 to June 9.

During the meeting, it was agreed between Railways and district authorities to provide 48 superior type RCC benches at Ramgarh station at a cost of Rs.3,73,500.  Funds for this work is being provided by MoS, Finance Jayant Sinha under the MPLAD scheme, based on a unique initiative taken by Ministry of Railways and Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation.

During the meeting, railway and district officials also agreed to collaborate for swift execution of developmental projects in the interest of rail-users and residents of Jharkhand State with emphasis on MGNREGA, recovery of encroached railway land, closure of unmanned level crossings through safer and superior option of limited height subways, decongestion of station approach roads with provision of adequate parking facility etc.
