Jaipur (JP): In order to ensure that Jaipur metro passes its final exam of inspection by the commissioner, rail safety, the chairman-cum-managing director of the Jaipur Metro rail corporation on Tuesday visited metro stations of the Phase-IA to check the preparedness.
Since the visit of the commissioner, Metro rail safety is very important for the clearance of the maiden run of the Jaipur Metro for the commercial purpose, Nihal Chand Goyal, CMD, JMRC along with the team of officials inspected each and every aspects relating to the Jaipur Metro.
“He had visited the Mansarover which is the first metro station and gave directions to the officials to put everything in place before the final inspection,” said a senior officer of JMRC on Tuesday.
Goyal also visited New Aatish Mark, Vivek Vihar, Shyam Nagar, Ram Nagar, Civil Lines, Sindhi Camp and Chandpole metro stations and reviewed the final preparations at these stations. “He had specifically asked the officials to ensure better services to the passengers,” said an officer.
JMRC on the directions of the state government is aiming at starting the commercial run of the Jaipur Metro on or before March, 31. For this now they need certifications of the safety and others certificates for the commercial run.
