DHAKA: Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited has secured new orders worth INR 1,235 crore. This includes an order placed for railway infrastructure construction by Bangladesh Railways for INR 553 crore; a transmission line and substation contract in Tajikistan valued at INR 346 crore; an order for design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning for railway electrification, signaling and associated civil works from Rail Vikas Nigam Limited for INR 185 crores; and an order for laying pipeline and associated works placed by Andhra Pradesh Gas Distribution Corp for INR 151 crore.
Mr Manish Mohnot, Managing Director & CEO, KPTL said that “Our strong order book position in T&D, Railways, and Oil & Gas Pipeline businesses has strengthened our position in the EPC segments that we operate. Overall, these orders lay a foundation for a profitable growth in the financial year 2018-19.”
The company also said it is currently executing multiple contracts in India, Africa, Middle-East and SAARC region.
