Kharge to flag-off new Mangalore-Madgaon Intercity Express train on Feb 23

Mangalore (MAQ): The new daily superfast Intercity express train service between Mangalore Central-Madgaon, announced by in the rail budget, will be flagged off by Union minister of railways Mallikarjun Kharge at Mangalore Central on February 23.

The inaugural special train 02636 will leave Mangalore Central at 3.30pm and arrive Madgaon at 10.15pm on that day.

The regular service of train 22635 Madgaon-Mangalore Central daily superfast intercity express will commence on February 24 from Madgaon and that of Train 22636 Mangalore Central – Madgaon daily superfast intercity express will commence on the same day itself from Mangalore Central. Train 22635 Madgaon-Mangalore Central daily superfast intercity express will leave Madgaon at 4.15 pm and arrive Mangalore Central at 10pm the same day.

Train no 22636 Mangalore Central – Madgaon daily superfast intercity express will leave Mangalore Central at 8.15 am and reach Madgaon at 2pm.

The trains will stop at Canacona, Karwar, Kumta, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Kundapur, Udupi and Surathkal. Advance reservation for the above trains will commence on February 16.
