Madarihat Yuva Congress submits Memorandum of Demands to DRM/APD

Banarhat (BNQ): Representatives of the Madarihat unit of the Yuva Congress today submitted a seven-point demands to the Divisional Railway Manager through the station master of Binnaguri Railway Station.

The team included Banarhat block Congress president Balaram Ray, Madarihat Youth Congress vice-president Md. Farooqudin Ansari and Secretary Lalan Kumar Jha, among several others.

Ray said the Youth Congress wants stopovers for the Kanchankanya Express and Intercity 15465-15466 trains at Banarhat and Binnaguri stations and the Kaviguru Express at Binnaguri station. The party has also demanded an increase in the number of coaches on Anand Vihar Express, more deployment of RPF personnel and establishment of railway enquiry windows and a hospital at Binnaguri station.

Ray added the Yuva Congress will soon meet state railway minister Adhir Ranjan Choudhury and submit a similar deputation.
