Secunderabad: Mohd. Jamshed, Member Traffic, Railway Board inspected Secunderabad Railway station today i.e. 27th May, 2016. His inspection coincided with Satkaar Diwas being celebrated as part of weeklong “Rail Hamsafar Saptah” outreach program. Ravindra Gupta, General Manager, South Central Railway also accompanied him during the inspection.
The Member Traffic examined the working of Passenger Operated Enquiry Terminals situated in the main concourse area of Secunderabad Railway Station. He enquired about the information being provided to passengers on train arrival/departure status, PNR status and amenities available at station at the Enquiry counters situated at Platform No. 1.
Later, Jamshed visited the Jan Aahaar catering stall and thoroughly checked the quality and the quantity of the food items being sold to the railway passengers. He also interacted with the customers present at the Jan Aahaar catering stall and enquired about the quality of the eatables and beverages being served. He also visited the Food Track joint run by IRCTC and inspected the menu being served to the passengers. Further, Jamshed interacted with the onboard passengers of Secunderabad – Howrah Falaknuma Express and enquired about the rail travel facilities, cleanliness and punctuality etc.
Ashesh Agarwal, Divisional Railway Manager, Secunderabad Division, and other branch officers from Secunderabad Division were also present.
