Minister responded positively on Railway Zone for Andhra, says UJF

Visakhapatnam (VSKP):  Uttarandhra Journalists’ Front (UJF) has succeeded in taking the issues concerning the north Andhra and the need to create a new railway zone with headquarters in Visakhapatnam, according to UJF president M.R.N. Varma and general secretary N. Nageswara Rao.

A delegation of journalists from the city took the issues to the notice of Railway Minister Mallikharjun Kharge, Minister of State Kotla Suryaprakash Reddy, Union Ministers Killi Kruparani, D. Purandeswari and J.D. Seelam and a host of leaders of the Opposition parties.

Addressing a media conference, they said the Railway Minister had promised to look into issues like Waltair Division getting a raw deal from the East Coast Railway headquarters.
