Mumbai Suburban services affected due to mega block on all three lines on Sunday

Mumbai: Central Railway and Western Railway will operate a mega block on its suburban sections for carrying out maintenance work on Sunday.

CR spokesperson said, “On main line, block will be taken down and slow the line between Thane and Kalyan from 11.15 am to 3.15 pm.”

All down, slow/semi-fast locals that leave Mulund from 10.49 am to 3.06 pm will be diverted on Down fast line between Mulund and Kalyan. The down slow line services will not available at Kalva, Mumbra, Diva, Kopar and Thakurli stations. However passengers of these are allowed to travel via Kalyan / Dombivli in UP direction on their valid card/season tickets.

All UP fast line locals which depart Thane from 10.46 am to 3.28 pm will halt at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts.

Also, all All down fast locals that leave CST from 10.08 am to 2.42 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts

On harbour line, the block will be taken on Up and down lines between Kurla-Mankhurd from 11 am to 3 pm.

Down harbour line services to Panvel, Belapur and Vashi that leave CST from 10.23 am to 3.01 pm and Up harbour line services towards CST which depart from Panvel, Belapur and Vashi from 10.20 am to 3.04 pm will remain suspended.

However, Special trains will be run on Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus- Kurla and Mankhurd-Panvel sections during the block period.

Harbour line Passengers are permitted to travel via Trans Harbour Line/ Main Line from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.

BEST will run additional buses on route no.501 Ltd

On WR, To carry out maintenance work a block will be taken on Up and Down fast lines between Andheri and Mahim stations from 10.35 am to 3.35 pm.

Level Crossing Gate No.19 between Bandra and Khar will remain closed for road traffic during the block period.
