National Academy of Indian Railways holds Seminar as part of Customer Fortnight

Vadodara: National Academy of Indian Railways (NAIR), Vadodara, organized a seminar on ‘Initiatives by Railways and Expectations of Customers’ on Friday a part of ongoing Customer Fortnight being celebrated by the academy from May 26. Representatives of eminent business associations and major freight customers of the railways participated in the seminar.

Representatives from the Federation of Gujarat Industries, Vadodara Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and others expressed their views and gave suggestions on railway’s business. NAIR director general Sanjoy Mookerjee, divisional railway manager Ashutosh Gangal and other senior railway officers along with trainee officers participated in the seminar.

NAIR celebrated the World Environment Day on the same day sensitizing children, trainee officers and other stakeholders towards safeguarding of the environment. A special session was organized on environmental issues and papers were presented besides creating awareness. NAIR also organized a wherein 75 persons were screened and counseled for a healthy lifestyle. NAIR Women’s Welfare Organization also organized a health camp for women.
