Held Under the patronage and in the presence of H.E Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs for the State of Qatar, the Business and Investment in Qatar Forum will witness the participation of high officials from Qatar and Germany.
Many government officials, high net investors, and representatives from the public and private sector will attend the forum. Via interactive panels, the two-day forum will discuss the latest business and investment opportunities and trends in the Qatari economy.
The aim of the forum is to promote Qatar’s economy and strategic vision, as well as highlighting the myriad of opportunities that are available.
“Qatar Rail is delighted to take part in the Business & Investment in Qatar Forum, and represent the State of Qatar to tell the world about the very big steps we are taking towards transforming the infrastructure and transport in Qatar,” said Engineer Abdulla Abdulaziz Turki Al Subaie , Managing Director of the Qatar Railways Company.
“Qatar promotes investment, innovation, free trade, open competition and access to resources that will continue to bring long-term economic development to Qatar.”
According to Engineer Abdulla Abdulaziz Turki Al Subaie, few nations in the world offer a more dynamic business environment than the State of Qatar. And even fewer have leaders who are more farsighted in reform, who are more focused on anticipating the needs of their citizens at a time of tremendous change, and who are working harder to expand education, infrastructure and opportunity for the men and for women of their nation.
“Thanks to the vision of the Emir, His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Qatar has become an example for the world. At Qatar Rail, we are proud to support the Emir’s vision and to be part of the bright future being built in – and by – the State of Qatar.”
Eng Al Subaie further said “Delivering our Rail Networks as part of a Sustainable Future is important to us. We support the 4 pillars of the National Vision: Economic, Social, Human and Environmental Development – including the significant benefits of reducing congestion and emissions – and leading to the more efficient movement of people and goods.”
