New Delhi: The Railway Minister has “not yet” accepted the resignation of Railway Financial Commissioner and the process is on, said a source.
However, other sources say it seems unlikely that the Financial Commissioner will take back his resignation.
The FC has not asked for a waiver of the notice period. The move has sent wrong signals to the railway officer community with officials now wondering “who is next”.
The Railways has 1:100 railway officers to staff ratio. “It seems it is an expression of displeasure on certain issue done to elicit the attention of the Minister,” said a source.
