Railways introduces new train between Lucknow and Varanasi

LUCKNOW: For the convenience of rail passengers, railways has introduced a new express train.

The train, 14219/14220, will run on six days except Sunday between Varanasi and Lucknow.

Train number 14219 Varanasi-Lucknow Express will depart from Varanasi at 5am (except Sunday) and reach Lucknow at 11.45am the same day.

In the return direction, train number 14220 will depart from Lucknow at 1pm and reach Varanasi at 7.45pm the same day.

The train will have one AC chair car, 12 general class and two disabled friendly second class-cum-luggage van coaches.

The train will stop at Bhadohi, Janghai, Pratapgarh, Amethi and Rae Bareli stations en route in both the directions.

The train will be flagged off for the inaugural run from Lucknow on Thursday at 10.15am and reach Varanasi at 4.25 p.m.
