SCR runs 32 Special Trains to various Destinations during Pongal Festival Season

SECUNDERABAD: In order to clear extra rush of Passengers during Pongal festival season, 32 special /Humsafar/Suvida trains will be run from Hyderabad to Kakinada Town, Kakinada Town to Secunderabad, Secunderabad to Narsapur, Hyderabad – Kochuveli – Hyderabad, Kacheguda-Bhubaneswar- Kacheguda and Secunderabad-Gudur as detailed below:-

  1. Hyderabad – Kakinada Town Special Train (01 Service):-

Train No. 07003 Hyderabad – Kakinada Town Special Train will depart Hyderabad at 20:15 hrs on 13th January, 2018 and arrive Kakinada Town at 07:25 hrs on the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Secunderabad, Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam,  Vijayawada, Gudivada, Kaikaluru, Akividu, Bhimavaram Town, Tanuku, Nidadavolu, Rajahmundry and Samalkot stations.

This special train will have AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper Class, General Second class and Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.

  1. Kakinada Town – Secunderaba Special Train (01 Service):-

Train No. 07459 Kakinada Town – Secunderabad Special Train will depart Kakinada Town at 22:30 hrs on 18th January, 2018 and arrive Secunderabad at 09:00 hrs on the next day.

Enroute, this special train will stop at Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal and Kazipet stations. These special trains will have AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper Class, Second Class Chair car and Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.

  1. Secunderabad – Narsapur Suvidha Special Train (01 Service):-

Train No. 82714 Secunderabad – Narsapur  Suvidha special train will depart Secunderabad at 19:15 hrs on 12th  January, 2018  and arrive Narsapur at 06:00 hrs on next day.

Enroute this special train will stop at Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Piduguralla, Guntur,  Vijayawada,  Gudivada,  Kaikalur, Akividu, Bhimavaram Town, Bhimavaram Jn and  Palakollu  stations.

This special train consist of AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper Class and Luggage cum Break van Coaches.

  1. Hyderabad – Kochuveli – Hyderabad Special Train (22 Services):-

Train No. 07115 Hyderabad – Kochuveli Special Train will depart Hyderabad at 21.00 hrs on 20th, 27th January, 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th February, 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st March, 2018 (Saturdays) and arrive Kochuveli at 03.20 hrs on Mondays.

In the return direction, Train No. 07116 Kochuveli – Hyderabad Special Train will depart Kochuveli at 07:45 hrs on  22nd, 29th January, 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th February, 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th March and 2nd April, 2018 (Mondays)  and arrive Hyderabad at 14:00 hrs on Tuesdays.

Enroute these special trains will also stop at Secunderabad, Nalgonda, Piduguralla, Guntur, Tenali, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Tirupati, Chittoor, Katpadi, Ambur, Vaniyambadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palghat, Ottapalem, Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Kayankulam and Kollam stations in both the directions.

These trains will have AC II tier, AC III tier, Sleeper Class and Luggage cum Brake van  Coaches.

  1. Kacheguda –Bhubaneswar- Kacheguda Humsafar Special Train (06 Services):-

Train No. 08411 Bhubaneswar-Kacheguda Humsafar Special train will depart Bhubaneswar at 11:30 hrs on 11th, 18th & 25th January, 2018 (Thursday) and arrive Kacheguda at 08:30 hrs on Friday.

In the return direction, Train No. 08412 Kacheguda-Bhubaneswar Humsafar Special train will depart Kacheguda at 15:45 hrs on 12th, 19th & 26th January, 2018 (Friday) and arrive Bhubaneswar at 13:15 hrs on Saturday.

Enroute, these Humsafar special trains stop at Malkajgiri, Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Piduguralla, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajamundhry, Samalkot, Anakapalli, Duvvada, Vishakapatnam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Rd, Palasa, Brahmapur and Khurda Road stations in both the directions.

These Humsafar special trains will comprise all AC III Tier Coaches.

  1. Secunderabad-Gudur Special Train (01 Service):-

Train No. 02710 Secunderabad – Gudur special train will depart Secunderabad at 19:15 hrs on 11th January, 2018 and arrive Gudur at 06:40 hrs on the next day .

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Piduguralla, Guntur, Tenali, Chirala, Ongole and Nellore.

This special train consist of AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper Class and Luggage cum Brake van Coaches.

  1. Change of Suvidha Train Number:

Train No. 82711 Narsapur- Secunderabad Suvidha special train will depart Narsapur at 21:10 hrs on 17th January, 2018 which was notified earlier now will be run as Train No. 82713.

Trains Rescheduled/Cancelled

Trains Rescheduled:

  1. Train No. 16360 Patna – Ernakulam Mail Express scheduled to depart Patna at 16:30 hrs on 9th January, 2018 is rescheduled to depart at 20:30 hrs on the same day due to late running of its pairing train.
  2. Train No. 12512 Thiruvanthapuram Central – Gorakhpur Express scheduled to depart Thiruvanthapuram Central at 06:15 hrs on 10th January, 2018 is rescheduled to depart at 19:15 hrs on the same day.

Trains Cancelled:

Train No.12590 Secunderabad- Gorakhpur scheduled to depart Secunderabad at 07.20 hrs on 12th January, 2018 is cancelled.

Temporary Augmentation of 04 Express/Passenger Trains with Additional Coaches

In order to provide additional travelling facility for waitlisted passenger during Pongal festival season, South Central Railway will be providing temporary augmentation of following Trains with additional Coaches from 10th  to 19th January, 2018 as detailed below:-

  1. Train No. 12795 Vijayawada – Secunderabad Intercity Express Train will be augmented with one AC Chair Car  Coach from 10th to 19th January, 2018.
  2. Train No. 12796 Secunderabad – Vijayawada Intercity Express Train will be augmented with one AC Chair Car  Coach from 10th to 19th January, 2018.
  3. Train No. 07757 Secunderabad – Vijayawada Special train  will be augmented with one AC Chair Car  Coach from 10th to 19th January, 2018.

Train No. 07758  Vijayawada – Secunderabad  Special train  will be augmented with one AC Chair Car  Coach from 10th to 19th January, 2018.

Temporary Increase in Platform Ticket Rate at Kacheguda Station to Regulate Non Travelling Public in Sankranthi Festival Season

In view of the ensuing Sankranthi festival season, it is anticipated that there will be huge crowd of rail travellers as well as accompanying non-travellers at Kacheguda Railway Station.

In order to regulate the flow of people to enter the platforms and avoid inconvenience to the travelling public by means of ensuring decongestion of platforms, the rate of Platform Ticket at Kacheguda Railway Station will be enhanced from present Rs. 10/- to Rs. 20/- for a period of seven days i.e. from 11th to 17th January, 2018.
