SCR runs weekend Special Trains to Bangalore to suit IT Sector Professionals and Other Travelers

Vacant Berths made available in Kacheguda-Krishnarajapuram (Bengaluru) Special Train on Sundays. Also announced Stoppage of Konark and Hyderabad Deccan Expresses at Lingampalli Railway Station to benefit the IT Professionals working in the Hitec City, Madhapur, Manikonda and Gachibowli Zones of Hyderabad City.

SECUNDERABAD: South Central Railway announced running of conveniently planned weekend Special Trains connecting Hyderabad City with Bengaluru, to clear rush of traffic especially during weekends (Saturdays/Sundays).

The Special Train, which departs from Kacheguda will terminate at Krishnarajapuram (Bengaluru) which is conveniently accessible to the Electronic City and White Field locations so as to immensely benefit the huge number of IT sector professionals travelling between the Hyderabad and Bangalore cities.

Train No.07603 Kacheguda-Krishnarajapuram (Bengaluru) Special Train will depart Kacheguda at 18:00 hrs on Sundays i.e., 30th April, and 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th May, 2017 and arrive Krishnarajapuram (Bengaluru) at 06:00 hrs of Monday morning.

In the return direction, Train No.07604 Krishnarajapuram (Bengaluru)-Kacheguda Special Train will depart Krishnarajapuram (Bengaluru) at 22:30 hrs on Mondays i.e., 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th May, 2017 and arrive Kacheguda at 11:15 hrs on Tuesdays.

These special trains will stop at Jadcherla, Mahabubnagar, Gadwal, Kurnool Town, Dhone, Gooty, Anantapur, Dharmavaram, Satya Sai Prashanthi Nilayam, Penukonda, Hindupur and Yelahanka stations in both the directions to benefit the passengers enroute.

These special trains will consists of AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class accommodation. Vacant berths are available for advance reservation in all classes. Passengers, particularly those on waiting list for other train services bound to Bengaluru on Sundays from Hyderabad City can opt to book their confirmed reservations by this special train.

Provision of Stoppage to Konark and Hyderabad Deccan Express Trains at Lingampalli Railway Station

Railway has provided additional stoppage for Konark and Hyderabad Deccan Express trains at Lingampalli Railway Station on experimental basis for 6 months with effect from 28th April, 2017, as detailed below:-

  1. Train No.11020 Bhubaneswar –  Mumbai CST Konark Express will arrive/depart Begampet at 11:55/11:57 hrs; Lingampalli at 12:19/12:20 hrs and Tandur at 13:39/13:40 hrs.
  2. Train No.11019Mumbai CST – Bhubaneswar Konark Express will arrive/depart Tandur at 04:49/04:50 hrs; Lingampalli at 06:34/06:35 hrs  and Begampet at 07:00/07:02
  3. Train No.17014 Hyderabad – Pune Expresswill arrive/depart Begampet at 22:56/22:57 hrs; Lingampalli at 23:17/23:18 hrs and Vikarabad at 00:06/00:07 hrs.
  4. Train No.17013 Pune – Hyderabad Express will arrive/depart Vikarabad at 02:49/02:50 hrs; Lingampalli at 03:19/03:20 hrs and Begampet at 03:49/03:50

*All these above trains will run as special fare trains.
