SCR Women’s Welfare Organization Celebrates 72nd Independence Day

SECUNDERABAD: The South Central Railway Women’s Welfare Organization (SCRWWO) celebrated 72nd Independence Day today i.e., 15th August, 2018 amongst the school children of Vidya Vihar High School, Chilakalaguda, Secunderabad and Aakaanksha, School for Differently Abled Children of Railway Families at Mettuguda, Secunderabad.

Smt. Archana Yadav, President, SCRWWO, South Central Railway hoisted the National Flag in the presence of a large number of students at Vidya Vihar High School and Aakaanksha, school for differently abled children.

Smt. Archana Yadav advised the students to utilize the opportunities and excel in the studies to enjoy prosperity in future. She called upon the students to involve with interest in both cultural and spots activities. She congratulated the merit students and expressed wishes for bright future of the students pursuing their education at Vidya Vihar School run by SCRWWO. Later, she distributed prizes and awards for academic excellence to the students.

Later, Smt Archana Yadav along with executive members of SCRWWO visited inpatient Wards at Central Railway Hospital, Lallaguda and distributed items of need to the patients. She inaugurated cable TV connection for the recreation of railway patients and planted the sapling in the hospital premises as part of green initiatives.
