Station Superintendent’s son robbed at Nagpur Railway station

NAGPUR: Thieves robbed a bag containing Rs.11,000 belonging to Sumit Tamgade, son of Chandrapur railway station superintendent Gyaneshwar Tamgade, from Platform No.2 of Nagpur railway station on Monday morning. However, railway police claimed that no such incident has been reported.

Sources said Sumit had been to Nagpur to meet his ailing grandmother. On Monday, while waiting at Platform No.2, he fell asleep. He woke after few minutes to see his bag having cash Rs.11,000 missing.

Sources informed that Sumit informed his father who then asked for an investigation in the case. However, till Tuesday, no case has been registered.
