State agree to bear 50% cost of railway tracks to be laid in Mewat
Chandigarh (CDG): The survey to lay a railway line in district Mewat has been completed and Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has sent a written communication to the Railways Department stating that the State Government would bear half of the cost of this project.
This was stated by Haryana Transport Minister Aftab Ahmed while replying to the questions of media persons at Nuh in district Mewat today.
He said as the project to lay a railway line in Mewat has already been approved, the process to acquire land for the same would soon commence.
The Minister said that a rail corridor would also be developed in Taoru.
