“TRICHY RAIL” – Mobile App – Trial Version for Passengers launched

TIRUCHCHIRAPPALLI: The Tiruchchirappalli Railway Division has developed a Mobile App “Trichy Rail” in association with M/s. VarNik Systems Services Pvt Ltd. The Mobile App “Trichy Rail” is an integrated mobile application which provides handy information about various passenger requirements, including ticket booking, inquiry, PNR Status, Spot your train, Retiring room booking, Complaints, Live Train status, Rescheduled trains. Battery Operated Car, Coach Position, Ticket availability, Emergency Medical Assistance like; (Ambulance and availability of Hospital near the Stations) and also provides Tourism related information over the Tiruchchirappalli Division on a single platform.

This App is available at Google Play Store for free download. Passengers can download, install and open this App duly registering their details like any other App. This mobile application is integrated with Railway Helpline Numbers (138, 139, 1512, etc.,) and also with railway NTES server to provide accurate train time & Data for passengers.

Through this “Trichy Rail” app, Users can get detailed information about the availability of Retiring Rooms; Battery operated cars, Ambulance facilities, etc., at the stations of Tiruchchirappalli Division. Users can also lodge their complaints regarding the deficiencies about passenger amenities, cleanliness of the stations, etc., over the Tiruchchirappalli Railway Division and suggestions for improvements through this app.

At present, the app is a trial version and under development. Users are encouraged to share their suggestions and feedbacks for incorporating in the App for further improvement of the App.
