Vadodara Division of Western Railway, NDRF meet for better coordination in Disaster Management

VADODARA: The 6th battalion of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Vadodara recently exhibited emergency tools and equipments that can be used in emergency situations in front of the Divisional Railway Manager’s (DRM) office lawn area located in Pratapnagar area of the city.

Vadodara DRM Devendra Kumar watched the exhibition along with the team of divisional safety branch. After this, during the meeting with the railway officials and employees, Ranvir Kumar Mishra, deputy commandant of the NDRF team gave a power point presentation on the role of NDRF during the emergency in railway and other areas of the country.

During the meeting organized for the purpose of coordination between the NDRF and the railway, Kumar stressed that everybody should work as a community in emergency.

Apart from this, he further said that in addition to the NDRF, the railways would organize programs like mock drill, training and seminars so that all stakeholders can work in better coordination during emergency.
