Vigilance Awareness Week: NER Staff takes Pledge to be Hones

VARANASI: The Vigilance Awareness Week began on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), North Eastern Railway (NER), Varanasi Division, Ajay Vijayvargiya asked employees to take pledge to remain honest and dutiful.

A discussion would be held on ‘Whether good governance can end corruption?’ on October 30 at Premchand Sabhagar.

Meanwhile, train number 15117/15118 Chapra-Durg Express would be extended till Godia from October 29.

The train that was announced in the rail budget, would run from Chhapra to Godia on Tuesdays and Fridays whereas from Godia to Chhapra, it would run on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The week is also being observed at Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW).

Controller of stores SP Piplani led the employees on Monday in taking a pledge not to get involved in corrupt practices and be vigilant against those who indulge in wrong-doings.
