New Delhi: Former Chief Minister of Delhi Mr.Arvind Kejriwal mentioned that he will scrap all the all projects being executed by the Railway Minister Mr.Mallikarjun Kharge in the Hyderabad Karnataka region if Aam Aadmi Party comes to power in 2014 Lok Sabha elections. “We will establish a Railway Task Force to conduct a probe against the officials and politicians who are hand-in-glove with the Railway projects, particularly mentioning the names of Kharge and Pawan Kumar Bansal”, Kejriwal told his close associates here on Monday. “Congress has failed to complete projects even after signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the state government 19 years ago. What it is going to do now with the big ticket projects with meager budgets? asked Kejriwal. The AAP government, which will come to power promising a clean administration, will take over Railway projects immediately. “I will not rest till the issue is taken to a logical end,” he said.
“When Railway Minister Mallikarjuna Kharge sets out seeking votes this time, he is likely to do so in the entire Hyderabad-Karnataka region rather than limit himself to his own constituency of Gulbarga. This is because the 72-year-old Congress veteran has poured the Centre’s money on big-ticket projects the influence of which extends beyond Gulbarga, and well into the Lok Sabha constituencies of Bidar, Raichur and Koppal. He, along with his comrade-in-arm and Bidar MP Dharam Singh also got the Constitution amended to get the region “special status”, Kejriwal said further stating that Kharge betrayed Dalits of the north Karnataka region.
Kejriwal also highlighted that Kharge got AICC president Sonia Gandhi lay the foundation stone laying for a 30-acre mind-blowing healthcare township of ESI Corporation in Gulbarga last year. The Labour Ministry spent Rs.1400 crore on this project alone. AAP Party will probe into all allegations leveled against Kharge in this big ticket project and will initiate CBI enquiry. Kejriwal also stated saying that “one of the reasons why the Gulbarga region saw fewer developments is because of people like Kharge. He also said he will dig out the corruptions in the Central University, new railway lines, trains and roads and the motto in announcing a separate railway division for Gulbarga, too. Kejriwal also said that one of the reasons why Kharge went into a development over-drive was the defeat voters handed down to his son, Priyank Kharge, in the 2009 by-polls to Chittapur, the Assembly seat that Kharge vacated on being elected to the Lok Sabha.
